About Us

His Caring Place is a licensed teen maternity program that offers love and guidance to young women struggling with crisis pregnancies. Our seven-bedroom maternity home in Coconut Creek, Florida, is located on one-and-a-half acres in a semi-rural setting, away from the hustle of busy South Florida but still conveniently close to church, schools, doctors, and other amenities. Our four-bedroom aftercare home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offers a training and recovery program for young women who choose to parent and qualify for aftercare services.

Over the last twenty years, His Caring Place has provided for the needs of several hundred young pregnant women from all over the country. Through this program, many have been able to see God's faithfulness and provision intervene at just the right time. The issue of unwanted pregnancy is at a crisis level in South Florida, and in fact, the world today. It is reassuring to know that each individual conception did not occur without our Creator’s foreknowledge of it. We believe that God can be glorified through any circumstance and that all life is precious to Him.


Our Goal

In Isaiah 40:1, God promised to “gently lead those who are with young.” We take this promise seriously and provide a safe harbor for teenagers throughout their pregnancy and beyond. We believe that God brings each young woman to His Caring Place for a specific purpose—He has a plan for them and their children. We offer guidance and support to help them find God’s will regarding parenting, adoption, and other life issues; however, each young mother makes her own decisions. The goal of His Caring Place residential homes is to provide a training ground for young women to achieve educational, emotional, spiritual, social, and career goals that are honoring to the Lord as well as to receive acceptance and love during their pregnancies.

Jane Doe Miracle Home Make-Over Update
We are pleased to announce that our Miracle Home Make-Over campaign has officially begun! In July of 2006 we shared the vision for this project with our supporters. Their positive response and support gave us the go-ahead to work towards eliminating some of our greatest concerns at His Caring Place - lack of space for the amount of girls we want to help, room for non-residential ministry to take place, and counseling/education rooms for the girls in the program. Ever since Hurricane Wilma damaged our already - deteriorating Coconut Creek house in 2005, most of you know that our maternity home has been in a much smaller, temporary space in Pompano Beach. Though we've diligently searched out many options, God has continued to confirm our desire to move back home to our Coconut Creek property - the ministry home of His Caring Place for over 20 years. This year of waiting patiently on God's timing has given us the opportunity to lay the groundwork for meeting the needs that a project of this magnitude will require. At this point, we have more than 25 companies on our Miracle Home Make-Over Team, ready to pitch in and help when their turn comes! We look forward to introducing these special individuals to you as the project progresses.
